THINGS TO DO IN BOSTON IN SPRINGTIME
Just watch out for the squirrels. They can get handsy...
Have a picnic in the Boston Public Gardens
I'd recommend the minuteman bikeway. It’s a scenic 10 mile stretch reaching from Bedford to Cambridge. Or just opt along the Charles River!
RENT A BIKE
You can choose to pick up kayaks in either Cambridge, Allston/Brighton, or even Newton. Such a fun activity on a warm, sunny day!
KAYAK THE CHARLES RIVER
Walk along the Charles river or Arnold Arboretum and witness the world in bloom.
DIY WALKING TOUR
SOWA in the South End and Union Square in Somerville are my personal favorites!
HEAD TO A FARMERS MARKET
Lamplighter in Cambridge and Trillium in Seaport are both great options. Plus, then you can head over to Seaport Common where more food, drink and activities are happening.
CHECK OUT A BREWERY
My two favorite skyline views are from the BU bridge and on the redline. Take the red line from Cambridge towards MGH. You'll land right in the heart of Beacon Hill and will catch a stunning view of the skyline on your way over.
CATCH A GLIMPSE OF THE SKYLINE
Six West in South Boston, Envoy in Seaport, Daedalus in Cambridge, and Pier 6 in Charlestown all have some amazing views and menus!
GRAB A DRINK ON A ROOFTOP
Blue hills reservation is a close drive from Boston. It’s small and manageable so great for all levels. And you can even see the Boston skyline from the top!
TAKE A HIKE!
