Recommendations from a PA and nutritionist

Vitamin D deficiency is extremely common - especially after winter!

Here are some tips to get a bit more of it through nutrition and lifestyle!

Spent a bit more time in the sun!

Safely, of course. If you're planning to be outside for longer than 20 minutes, make sure to wear sunscreen!

Eat lots of fatty fish!

Salmon is an excellent source of vitamin D.

Don't skip the yolk.

Egg yolks have ample vitamin D, so make sure to avoid dishes with egg whites alone.

Cook with mushrooms!

Who knew the humble mushroom had so much to offer?!

Use a UV lamp

These are great in the winter when there isn't as much access to the sun.
