I’ve been in a real breakfast rut lately. So I’m taking rut to ~strut bc these overnight oats are ready for the runway (I’ve been studying for too long and have acquired a chronic case of lame-itis. Send help). Recipes below!
Almond cinnamon pear:
- 1/2 cup oats
- 2 tbsp chia seeds
- 1 cup almond cashew milk
- 1/4 tsp almond extract
- few dashes of cinnamon
- topped with pears
Lemon maple tahini:
- 1/2 cup oats
- 2 tbsp chia seeds
- 1 cup almond cashew milk
- 1 tbsp tahini
- juice of 1/2 lemon
- zest of 1/2 lemons
- 1 tsp of maple syrup
Chocolate orange:
- 1/2 cup oats
- 2 tbsp chia seeds
- 1 cup almond cashew milk
- 1 tbsp cacao powder
- juice of 1/2 orange
- 1 tbsp cacao nibs
Raspberry almond cinnamon:
- 1/2 cup oats
- 2 tbsp chia seeds
- 1 cup almond cashew milk
- 1 tbsp almond butter
- few dashes of cinnamon
- topped with raspberries
Homemade almond cashew milk:
- 1/2 cup almond
- 1/2 cup cashews
- soak overnight
- rinse in the morning and combine with 6 cups water
- add in 1/4 tsp vanilla extract, cinnamon, and a pinch of sea salt
