Hasselback Japanese Yams

The absolute hardest thing about this recipe is the prep time. It was so hand cramp inducing in fact, that the rest of the “recipe” is really just plopping a variety of other ingredients on top. 

This is kind of the point of my “recipes.” Basically just a combination of things that taste good together and combined in a super simple way.

ALSO there’s a really cool tip where you can put the potato on top of chopsticks and chop through to get the perfect depth of chopping! Found here.

  • japanese yams 
  • feta 
  • dill 
  • pine nuts 
  • tahini
  • lemon

Preheat oven to 400F. Preslice yams. Bake for 45 min – 1 hr. Top with toppings.
