fitppl Reds and Greens Smoothie

fitppl Reds and Greens Smoothie

It truly is such a shame that green and red produce the color below. What it lacks in aesthetic appeal, however, it makes up in nutritional power. With healthy grains, fats, fruits, vegetables, and a TON of other superfoods derived from fitppl green and red superfood blend.

It’s been so humbling to work with companies who are not only conscious of the ingredients that go into their products, but how these ingredients leave a lasting imprint on the world around us.  The underlying social cause for fitppl is their Ditch the Plastic initiative, in that they don’t use any bulky plastic containers and each bag of fitppl comes equipped with a reusable wooden spoon.  This small action is aimed to appease the growing plastic contamination of oceans, as it’s estimated that there are currently 46,000 pieces of plastic floating around per square mile in oceans.  The company’s main focus is that of reusing, reducing or eliminating plastic use.

I love that this “think globally, act locally” framework is embedded into this company’s business model. Similarly, though this smoothie be small, it is packed a mighty nutritional punch.
