FireCider Cocktail

FireCider Cocktail

This cocktail is science in a glass – simultaneously detoxing and retoxing.  I figured by adding in Fire Cider to my mixy this Memorial Day, I’d fend off the dreaded hangover the next day (which now a days is so crippling that I’m bed bound for most of the day afterwards craving nothing but donuts and Parks and Rec.) Admittedly, I still woke up with a brutal headache, but I’m convinced that’s due far more to the influx of sugar I ate the night before than this drink…more clinical research is needed on this hypothesis…updates to follow.  Anyways, the benefits of Fire Cider are listed below, and now my fingers are tired and Leslie / Ron / waffles are calling.

Ingredients:

  • 1 tbsp fire cider
  • 2 oz vodka
  • 1.5 cup soda water (I chose grapefruit soda water)
  • 2 lemon slices
  • 2 lime slices

Directions:

  1. Mix everything together and enjoy!
